Monthly breakfasts continue for the 16th year. Join us on the fourth Sunday from 8:30 to 12:30.

Christmas pot luck

Join the Keg Creek Antique Tractor Club and the Indian Creek Museum for a Christmas Pot luck on December 10th at 6 pm at the museum. The festivities start at 6 pm, and the tractor club is providing the meat for the meal. Table service is provided.

The November breakfast will be on the 27th, after Thanksgiving. there will be a Christmas pot luck o December 10th, at 6 pm. The Keg Creek Antique Club will provide chicken and lasagna. Plan on coming, bring a covered dish. The December breakfast will be held on January 1, 2017. See you then!!

Plowing exhibition

COME WATCH!!! Glenwood Tractor Club and Indian Creek Museum are hosting an antique tractor plowing exhibition on the Butch Bruce farm on Saturday, November 12, starting about 8:30. On the dirt road, about 1/4 mile east of Hastings on Highway 34. Gas and lunch provided by the Bruces’.

Binding of the wheat

The drought is over!! And the wheat binding is delayed. The sun needs to come out and dry the wheat. BUT— Wednesday or Thursday the binder will be in the wheat field, binding the wheat into bundles to be thrown on the hayracks. Threshing will be on September 10 and 11, and the straw will be baled. The wheat and straw will be for sale this fall.
